No registration required

Your reviews belong to you, not just your name.

Display names are not unique. Two people can both call themselves Steve, Sam or BananaFan—but their reviews, medals and leaderboard totals should never get mixed together. That is why Top Banana's gives each genuine reviewer a private Reviewer ID.

1

Leave your first review

Submit a rating as normal. There is no account form, password or registration process.

2

Receive a private ID

The site creates a unique code and remembers it in your browser. Your public display name remains separate.

3

Keep everything together

Approved reviews, First Peel medals, daily limits and weekly leaderboard totals are linked to that ID.

Why names are not enough

Someone else using your name cannot take over your ratings.

Top Banana's never combines reviewers simply because they typed the same public name. Your private ID is the real connection between your reviews.

  • People with identical names stay separate.
  • Your First Peel medals remain attached to your ID.
  • Your weekly leaderboard totals are counted correctly.
  • Administrator-generated reviews never count towards your profile.
Getting the ID back

Use your saved code—or add a private recovery email.

Your Reviewer ID can be entered on another phone, computer or browser. Adding an optional email gives you another way to request a secure, one-use recovery link.

Saved codeEnter the TB code on the My Reviewer ID page.
Recovery emailRequest a link that expires after 30 minutes.

Email addresses are private, are never shown beside reviews and are not used for marketing.

Questions about Reviewer IDs

Do I need to register?

No. A Reviewer ID is created during the normal review process. There is no account, username or password.

What happens if I clear my browser cookies?

The browser may forget the ID. You can reconnect using the saved TB code or a recovery email previously linked to it.

Is my IP address my identity?

No. IP information may help with abuse prevention and daily limits, but it is not used as your permanent reviewer identity.

Can somebody guess my Reviewer ID?

The codes are randomly generated and should be treated as private. Do not post yours publicly.

Can I remove the ID from this browser?

Yes. The My Reviewer ID page includes a forget-this-browser option. Existing reviews are not deleted.
